Burning Watchtower’s and Awake’s on to CD’s and MP3 CD’s

Aloha!

The society has provided MP3 CD’s for the use of the congregation. However, they also provide an online version as well. Every penny counts when it comes to the distribution of our literature. By burning your own CD, we help our brothers spend more money in printing magazines or books for the public. In this tutorial, I will teach you how to burn your Watchtower and Awake to a CD or MP3 CD.

This tutorial was created on a MacBook Pro but it is applicable to Windows and other Apple computers.

Materials

  • iTunes
  • At least 2 Blank CD-R Discs
Step 1
Go to jw.org
Step 2
Click on the Downloads tab.
Step 3
Click on the BOLD MP3. A .zip file will download. When it is complete, un-archive it.
Step 4
Open iTunes and Create a NEW playlist by clicking on the + on the lower left corner. Label it. Then drag the files into your new playlist.
Step 5
Click on File>>Burn Playlist to Disc and follow the instructions.
You can burn it to CD or MP3. If you burn to CD’s you might need two discs.

Step 6
Click on Burn and allow the CD/MP3 to burn.
CONGRATULATIONS! YOU HAVE CREATED YOUR VERY OWN CD/MP3 DISC!
Now you can listen to the Watchtower and/or Awake! magazines while you are on the go!
