New Video Releases will be a review post that will highlight the videos uploaded during the past week.

Inside the Can is a video series that shows behind-the-scenes for videos recorded for Maka Boy Media.

What’s goin on is a blog post as to what’s going on in my life.

The Vog Vlog! is a video journal where I talk about things that are happening around the internet or locally. I also post more video clips for From the Archives. They normally appear on Wednesday, but if I am in the mood, I will post a video from my iPhone.

From the Archives is a video series where we go back in time and watch clips created from 2007 to present.

From the Archives – Photo Edition is a blog post where I post pictures from the past.

This post will regard any plans I have for the week ahead. For example: special events, field service

Monday – Updates to the Site

There could always be an improvement on the website, if I change anything, it will be posted on Monday.

Tuesday – Tech Report

There is always something cool to read about technology… on Facebook… If I find anything interesting, I will post about it on Tuesday.

Wednesday – Spiritual Blog Post

Everyone has a need for spiritual things. This little post post will highlight encouraging bible topics.

Thursday – Blog Post

It could have been an epic event or a picture of me sleeping. Either way, it is a blog!

Friday – New media releases.

If I made a new video/song or photo, then I will release it on FRIDAY! If not, I will post something else that I find interesting.

 

Saturday? Well.. Its my break time!

I use facebook to communicate with my classmates who I collaborate on projects with. I see this as a challenge, because if I do get the opportunity to serve in New York, I feel it wouldn’t be right to have a facebook anyways! With all the talk of social networking dangers, it would only be appropriate to just have a normal, drama-free, service like my website, to post my feelings on topics. I find this topic interesting, so I am going to give myself a personal interview.

 

What will you do now that your facebook is deactivated?

Well, I can say that I can do more personal study. I can maintain my room cleanliness. *cough*catch up on my tv shows*cough* spend more time with the family. Be able to create LASTING friendships in REAL life. Now I have an excuse to ask someone for their number! haha! I can do my homework and possibly finish my PTP ON TIME! I could also finish videos I put aside.

What about the photos that were coming from facebook to your website?

Facebook has a new feature called download an archive. Before I deactivated my account, I downloaded my archive. Now I can post the pictures on my website with ease!

Why are you doing this?

I feel that taking this step will help me break free of the social addiction. I do realize that I have a need to be attached and connected to people, but that is what real life relationships are for! You cannot expect a friendship to grow just by looking at their statuses. Friendship needs to be a close personal thing which takes effort on ALL our parts. I hope to take the initiative in sparking new lasting relationships.

What are some steps that you have taken to avoid temptation?

I removed the Facebook app from my iPod and replaced it with my Field Service App. I deleted the bookmarker I had in my browser. I deactivated the messenger service that allowed me to connect to Facebook. In fact, I am working on removing Facebook from my Skype.

How long do you think you will be, “offline”?

I am just beta testing this. If I can see some real results, I might want to extend the time off.

Are you worried that you will be losing connection to people you normally always communicate with?

Yes I am worried.. I am deeply concerned with keeping those relationships. Although I have their EMAIL addresses, I sometimes wonder if they will ever receive my message. I like to communicate by voice, so I think I can now ask for numbers.

Why are you doing this?

I believe you asked that already.. You really must think I am regretting this don’t you.. Well, I can only hope for the best.

I would like to thank the 2,466 visits that I received on my website this year.

Whats going to be new this year? Well, within the next 12 months, I hope to successfully complete some projects that were pushed back. I hope to put more posts about my views on holidays and also more technical tutorials.
